Makeup Haul! Wet N Wild, NYX, E.L.F., and Real Techniques!

Hey everyone! So here's another beauty haul! Gosh, that's two weeks in a row! Lol! What can I say? I love shopping! Hahaha! I've been addicted to beauty videos on YouTube lately! OMG! I can watch those videos all day! And of course, I want ALL the makeup! Which is not good for my bank account! :/ lol But, I think I've found a nice balance, with using coupons!

The Wet N Wild coupon expired yesterday, and yes, I waited til the last minute to use it! lol I rushed out around 9pm last night, so I could use them up. But of course, the first Target I went into didn't carry the Wet N Wild brand! So I had to race to the next closest store! Here's what I found!

Wet N Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain in Rico Mauve $2.39 (Regular Price $2.99)(Target)
I used a $1/1 Wet N Wild Coupon, making it $1.39!
First off, I love the name of this lip stain! (a play on Rico Suave! lol) But, anyway, this color is super cute! I expected a more mauve color, mostly because it has mauve in the name... lol But it's more of a pinky color. Very natural looking. I don't usually wear lip colors, but I really enjoy this color, and I actually want to test out the longevity of color on the lips!

Wet N Wild Lipsticks in Think Pink and Bare It All $1.57 (Regular Price $1.99)(Target)
I used a $1/1 Wet N Wild Coupon, making them $0.57 each!
These colors are very pretty! I thought Think Pink would be a little more neutral/nude, but it turned out to be a pretty bright pink color! Very pretty, but I will have to gather the courage to try that out lol. Bare It All is a really nice nude color. It has a rosey hint to it, and in the swatches below, you will see it is very similar to the Megaslicks Balm Stain in Rico Mauve! The only difference I can see is that the stain has a shine to it, while the lipstick has a more satin finish.

Here are the watches from Left to Right: Megaslicks Balm Stain in Rico Mauve, Lipstick in Think Pink, and Lipstick in Bare It All.

Wet N Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner in Dark Brown $2.35 (Regular Price $2.99)(Target)
I used a $1/1 Wet N Wild Coupon, making it just $1.35!
I actually thought I was purchasing this eyeliner in Black! I thought, "Oh, $1.35 isn't a bad price for a black liquid eyeliner!" Duh Sara, read the labels! Lol. But this is a pretty brown color. It actually shows up BROWN! However, on a first impression, I do not like the staying power of this liner. :/ I usually use NYC Liquid Liner, and that one is not the best either, but it doesn't flake off the way this one did. I'm pretty sad cuz it glides on very nicely! It's pretty pigmented and is very inexpensive, even without a coupon! I think I will try it out a few more times though, just to be sure! :)

Check out this swatch! This is just ONE quick swipe across my hand! Crazy! :D

All in all, I'm very happy with my Wet N Wild purchases, especially since they were so cheap, thanks to coupons! :D But of course, I couldn't just stop there! Nope, I wanted to try some NYX products, based on some reviews I saw on YouTube! Those darn YouTubers are so influential! lol So here's what I found!

Left: NYX HD Eyeshadow Base $6.99 (Target)
Now, I don't wear eye shadow very often, but I like to use an eyelid primer to prevent my lids from getting too oily... melted eyeliner is not the business, fah real. Anyway, I've been wearing this primer all day, and I haven't seen any creasing which is great! :) But, I'd still like to play around with it a bit, to be sure.

Right: NYX Shine Killer $13.99 (Target)
I have pretty oily skin, so now that it's getting warmer, I've found that my skin is getting shiner as the day goes on, and I sit at a desk all day! lol it's not like I'm not running all over town or anything! So, I wanted to find a product to help combat shiny face syndrome! I was just so excited to use this primer this morning! I decided to use it after moisturizer, and before foundation. I have noticed a small difference, but my face is still a bit too oily. I think next time, I will try it after foundation, to see if that helps more. But I'm very happy with this purchase!

NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat HD Photogenic Powder Foundation $9.50 (Nordstrom Rack)
I haven't tried this powder foundation yet, but I'm pretty excited to! :D I swatched the testers at Nordstrom Rack to try to find my shade, and I noticed their very soft texture! It says its a full coverage foundation, so that's pretty cool. I've never used a powder foundation before, so we'll see how it goes! I'll keep you all updated when I finally try it out! (Probably tomorrow! ;D)

I also needed brushes! ("Needed"... Yeah, Right! lol) But I've wanted to find a nice concealer brush, cuz I'm tired of using my fingers! And I had to have this Real Techniques brush, thanks YouTube! :/ lol

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush $9.00 (Kohls)
This brush worked AMAZINGLY WELL with my foundation! It did a very nice job of blending the product into my skin! I feel it left a very nice and even finish, no streaks! Plus, the bristles are so soft! Love this one! Now I want to try their other brushes!

Left: elf Studio Flawless Concealer Brush $3.04 (Target)
I tried this brush today with the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, and it worked very well for me! It did a great job of blending in my concealer, without wiping it away! Awesome brush! :)

Right: elf Professional Eyelash & Brow Brush $1.02 (Target)
I love this brush for taming my brows and blending out any product I use to fill them! It's a great little guy for just a buck!

So, that's my beauty haul for this weekend! I hope you guys enjoy reading about these things!
